While cleaning the children’s school shoes the other day something made my stop for a moment and think “how did this happen” , how did I get to this stage … not necessarily cleaning schools shoes … but having 2 school going children, responsible for 2 children. It really doesn’t seem that long ago that I was commuting into Dublin working as software engineer, earning a very nice wage with some very nice benefits. Shopping without thinking twice, eating out regularly and enjoying numerous trips away.
Would I swap, go back to 10 years ago …. absolutely not! I love cleaning my children’s dirty shoes
