Ballyvaughan Races, Aug 2011

Horse & Pony racing returned to Ballyvaughan in 2010 after 33 years, we didn’t make it last year but we did attend this year.

They were held on August 28th and the weather was dry and sunny, but cold I think!

The children enjoyed the experience, enjoyed listening to their granddad Johnny doing some great work on the loud-speaker … but think they were disappointed with our winnings (I should say 1 win!!!)

Just simple straight forward holiday snaps

We spend a lot of time in Ballyvaughan, Co. Clare, where my husbands parents are from, mostly we go for a few days but recently we spent a week there to finish off our summer holidays.
I recorded our week down west on my phone instead of my SLR – just something a little bit different from my normal edited photos, where I don’t upload RAW files, I don’t crop,I don’t straighten, don’t do this, don’t do that !!
Just simple straight forward holiday snaps …
